gnumail.app-common software package provides Mail client for GNUstep (common files), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gnumail.app-common
gnumail.app-common is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gnumail.app-common package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gnumail.app-common *
You will get with gnumail.app-common package name, version, architecture and description in a table
